Juliet was sad and asked Friar Lawrence for help. He gave her a special poison. It would make her sleep, and everyone would think she died. He said, "I'll tell Romeo to return. Then you must leave Verona together!"
悲伤的朱丽叶向劳伦斯修士求助。修士给了她一种特殊的毒药：那将使她入睡，但所有人则会以为她已死去。修士说：「我会请罗密欧回来，之后你们必须一起永远离开维罗纳！」
However, Romeo never received the message. He thought Juliet really died. So, he bought a strong poison and returned to Verona to die with her. He cried over Juliet's body, "How could you die?" and drank the poison.
然而，罗密欧却从未收到这则讯息，他以为朱丽叶真已离开人世，因而买了一瓶强烈的毒药回到维罗纳准备殉情。他对着朱丽叶的遗体哭喊：「你怎么能死呢？」而后喝下了毒药。
Juliet finally woke up and saw Romeo's body. She cried, "I can't live without you!" Then, she killed herself with Romeo's knife.
朱丽叶终于醒来了，并看见罗密欧的遗体。她哭着：「没有你，我无法独活于世！」接着，她便以罗密欧的佩刀结束了自己的生命。
