Rome is one of the four major ancient capitals of the world. Over the last 2,700 years, many wars happened and dynasties changed. Yet, Rome never disappeared from history. For centuries, people from generation to generation helped make Rome a center of power, culture, and religion. That's how the popular saying "Rome was not built in a day" explains the center of history and art.
