Bubble Tea Gets Big

One day in 1988, a tea shop manager in Taichung dropped some tapioca balls into her milk tea. She was in a meeting, and everyone there loved her delicious creation. Their shop began to sell the drink. Before long, tea shops all over Taiwan were making bubble tea. Tea makers even add other ingredients to make the tea taste better.
