A century ago, milk chocolate was very expensive. Hershey decided to try his hand at making affordable milk chocolate. Finally, he found the solution and produced the first HERSHEY'S Bar in 1900. Seven years later, the company introduced HERSHEY'S KISSES.

Besides chocolate, Hershey also believed in helping others. He built a community and a park with amusement rides around the factory for his workers. Soon, the town of Hershey formed in Pennsylvania. It still attracts millions of visitors each year. Although Hershey died in 1945, his spirit, like his chocolates, lives in the hearts of many.
