Islands in Southeast Asia, such as Phuket or the Maldives, are famous for their beautiful white-sand beaches. Less well known, but no less stunning, are the scenic ocean sides of southern Taiwan, in Kenting National Park. These beaches offer blue skies, fresh seafood, and all sorts of fun in the sun.

Surfing is a popular sport at nearly every beach in Kenting. Many shops rent out surfboards. The water is safe for swimming and beautiful coral reefs attract snorkelers and scuba divers. Colorful fish and other ocean life fill the bright blue waters. What’s more, as a place that has nice weather all year round, the spirit of summer never seems to end.
